Our client, a leading organization in the utility sector, is looking for a Business Analyst to facilitate the implementation of a new geospatial information system. The project aims to replace legacy infrastructure and transform the company into a GIS-driven network operator through advanced spatial technology.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and validate them with key stakeholders.
  • Develop SIT and UAT test scenarios and analyze testing results.
  • Facilitate user workshops to capture requirements and ensure project feedback loops.
  • Manage communications across various business stakeholders to maintain alignment.
  • Coordinate project activities as an independent facilitator to safeguard organizational processes.
  • Optimize business processes proactively by identifying dependencies between teams and deliverables.

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience with GIS projects, specifically ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
  • 3+ years experience in business analysis within complex project environments.
  • Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) for process development and optimization.
  • Knowledge of GISviewer software for business applications.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • You have proven experience facilitating workshops and managing group dynamics.
  • You possess strong organizational and communicative capabilities.
  • You're proactive, solution-oriented, and demonstrate professional agility.
  • You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.

  • Experience in stakeholder management.

  • Start date: 22 June 2026.
  • Duration: 12 months.
  • Work regime: Part-time (80%).
  • Location: Mechelen.
  • Working model: Onsite with remote flexibility.
  • Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
