Business Analyst – Energy Market & Operations

Our client, a prominent organization in the utility sector, is seeking a Business Analyst to support their market coordination and data management initiatives. The role focuses on bridging the gap between internal stakeholders and market operations while guiding business transformations within the evolving energy landscape.

• Analyze new initiatives and change requests from both a market and internal organizational perspective.
• Facilitate discussions between process owners, business analysts, and technical experts using best-practice processes.
• Support project managers by providing subject matter expertise and reviewing key deliverables.
• Document and track workgroup outcomes, decisions, and proposals through clear and structured documentation.
• Design end-to-end test scenarios and provide hands-on support during execution.
• Develop comprehensive communication and training materials to support change management and adoption.

• 5+ years business analysis experience specifically within MIG4 and MIG6 market operations.
• 5+ years experience as a business analyst within the Belgian energy market or a similar utility environment.
• Proven experience in BPM and the development or optimization of end-to-end business processes.
• Demonstrated experience in Quality Management and Acceptance Testing.
• Strong background in IT project management and technical analysis.
• Technical knowledge regarding the implementation and data processing of digital meters.
• Experience in creating professional communication and training materials.
• Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical IT specifications.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.
