Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is looking for a specialist to enhance their data standards team. The project focuses on developing, implementing, and refining interoperability principles to ensure unambiguous data modeling across diverse systems. A professional is sought to harmonize data structures and implement advanced semantic solutions to improve information exchange.
Responsibilities
- Develop data specifications, domain models, and application profiles based on project documentation.
- Implement and refine data standards by modeling and harmonizing information according to interoperability principles.
- Define clear definitions for concepts and structures to prepare models for working groups and implementation.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure semantic consistency and content alignment across various data projects.
- Apply linked data and interoperability principles to modernize existing data systems.
- Build and maintain technical tools for the publication and versioning of data standards.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience in data warehouse modeling and semantic interoperability.
- You bring 3+ years of experience with Linux distributions, environment management, and security troubleshooting.
- You possess experience with planning, designing, and building data warehouse applications using Cognos or Datastage.
- You have practical knowledge of Linked Data technologies including RDF, JSON-LD, and SPARQL.
- You bring proficiency in modeling and analysis techniques using UML and BPMN.
- You possess knowledge of data warehouse architecture including ETL, BI, and metadata components.
- You have experience with web technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js, or Node.js and REST APIs.
- You're familiar with shell scripting and Agile methodologies.
- You're analytical, communicative, and a proactive team player.
- You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.
Nice to Haves
- Master or Bachelor degree in IT.
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools like CircleCI.
- Previous involvement in research or implementation of systems with Linked Data.
- Willingness to learn DevOps and programming practices.

- Duration: until 15/07/2027.
- Work regime: 60%.
