Our client is a prominent player in the European energy sector focused on building a sustainable and reliable energy infrastructure. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of indirect purchase categories and negotiating framework contracts to optimize efficiency and the total cost of ownership. The position serves as a strategic link between internal business units and suppliers to support large-scale organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive tender strategies to ensure value-added and efficient procurement when determining business needs.
- Identify and implement group-level synergies to streamline purchasing processes.
- Manage specific product categories and contracts strategically to optimize annual expenditures.
- Conduct market research and negotiate local or international contracts to maintain long-term supplier relationships.
- Lead multi-functional teams through structured collaboration to implement innovative purchasing strategies.
- Evaluate and improve business results by increasing efficiency and optimizing synergies across the organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- You bring experience in conducting negotiations and managing complex supplier relationships.
- You possess a strong analytical mind and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- You have assertive communication skills and the ability to lead multi-functional teams autonomously.
- You are fluent in English, French, and Dutch.
