Medior MES Engineer – Beerse (Janssen/J&J)

Are you a MES engineer who combines technical depth with a pragmatic approach? For a strategic MES project at Janssen in Beerse, we're looking for a medior profile to join before the go-live on December 1st.

What you'll do

• Review technical designs and documents from supplier modelers
• Help solve technical issues and provide technical input to the team
• Set up and manage equipment master data
• Support testing thanks to your ability to read and understand JavaScript

What you bring

• Proven experience with MES systems
• Ability to read JavaScript (writing it is not required)
• Knowledge of Pasex and Opstrakker is a strong plus, but definitely not a dealbreaker
• No issue if you don't have Opstrakker experience — it's new to the market, so nobody has it as standard yet
• You're not a modeler, but you understand the technical side well enough to review critically

Practical details

• Start: as soon as possible (end of September/October), to allow for proper overlap and training with the departing colleague
• Location: Beerse, on-site 3 days/week (Mon/Tue/Thu) — with room for flexibility for the right candidate
• The project runs until go-live on December 1st; after that, a sustained phase begins (team setup still to be determined)
