AML Specialist – GenAI & AI Agents

Our client, a prominent player in the insurance industry, is looking for a specialist to optimize their anti-money laundering operations through artificial intelligence. This role focuses on developing practical tools to automate manual workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality control.

• Identify repetitive, manual, or time-consuming activities within the AML operational flow.
• Prioritize automation opportunities based on potential impact and ease of implementation.
• Build and configure AI agents, Copilots, and prompt-based assistants for case summarization and document analysis.
• Develop and test simple prototypes with end users to ensure practical usability.
• Track operational benefits and time savings to demonstrate the value of AI-supported methods.
• Create documentation and reusable solutions to ensure long-term sustainability.

• You have experience in AML operations, compliance, or financial crime.
• You bring strong knowledge of KYC, KYT, and Due Diligence processes.
• You possess hands-on experience building or configuring AI agents, Copilots, or GenAI solutions.
• You have the ability to independently build prototypes and functional solutions.
• You possess knowledge of PEP and sanctions screening, including Source of Funds and Source of Wealth investigations.
• You're pragmatic, delivery-oriented, and comfortable in an experimental environment.
• You're able to explain complex AI concepts in simple language to business stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English with fluency in either Dutch or French and good knowledge of the other.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with knowledge retrieval from internal procedures and guidelines.
• Background in transaction monitoring or quality and completeness checks.
