Our client, a global leader in professional visualization and collaboration solutions, is seeking a developer to join their product development team. The role focuses on designing architectural specifications and developing both back-end logic and modern user interfaces for a flagship wireless meeting solution.
Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Develop back-end logic and modern user interfaces within a Scrum-based environment.
- Optimize software execution, robustness, and system resource utilization.
- Identify and resolve software defects in close collaboration with the testing team.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for all developed software modules.
- Provide accurate work estimations to support realistic project planning and development timelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development with Kotlin and C++.
- 5+ years of experience in Android applications and embedded software/firmware development.
- Experience with Android low-level OS internals, MDEP, and APK development.
- Knowledge of Python, OpenGL, Gstreamer, Qt, and the Android Media Framework.
- Expertise in network communication protocols including TCP/UDP and multithreading mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Git, SVN, CI/CD, TDD, and automation practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn new programming languages and tools as needed.
- Proactive team player capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
- You are fluent in English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience developing embedded software or firmware on Linux.
- Knowledge of Linux low-level OS and Security principles.
- Experience with DevOps and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Camera2 API, video/audio processing, and codecs.
