Release Manager – Energy Market Data Systems

Our client, a leading provider in the energy sector, is seeking a Release Manager to support their data management division. This role oversees the coordination of critical system updates and market process transitions within a large-scale digital transformation program.

• Manage end-to-end release cycles including preparation, coordination, and follow-up.
• Align multiple releases and projects within a larger program framework.
• Coordinate across diverse technology stacks to ensure seamless system deployments.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders for all release activities.
• Organize and plan project-specific release milestones to ensure delivery timelines.
• Utilize ticketing and testing tools to monitor release quality and progress.
• Define and report on key performance indicators to optimize release efficiency.

• 5+ years of experience in Release Management including preparation, communication, and follow-up.
• 5+ years in project planning and coordination within complex project environments.
• 3+ years managing releases across various technology stacks and specialized release tools.
• You have experience coordinating releases within a program structure involving multiple concurrent projects.
• You bring proficiency in ticketing tools like TopDesk or ServiceNow and documentation in Confluence.
• You possess knowledge of testing tools such as HP ALM or Jira and familiarity with CI/CD.
• You're experienced with MIG6 and energy market processes.
• You have a background in developing and monitoring KPIs to track release performance.
• You bring strong stakeholder management skills with a focus on clear communication.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.
