Our client, a leading organization in the transportation sector, is seeking an Expert SAP BW/4HANA Application Analyst to support their technical maintenance operations. The role focuses on identifying business needs, translating them into functional specifications, and overseeing the delivery of advanced reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and document business requirements for reports and dashboards related to maintenance schedules and transport plans.
- Translate business needs into concrete functional specifications and design mock-ups for reporting purposes.
- Deliver expert proposals regarding reporting techniques through Proof of Concepts and best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal users to manage roadmaps for improvements, bugs, and incidents.
- Monitor consistency with business and solution architecture while consulting with enterprise architects.
- Contribute to the development of test scenarios, functional testing, and data cleansing activities.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role such as Application Owner, Functional Analyst, or SAP BW Developer.
- 5+ years of in-depth knowledge of SAP MM and SAP PM modules.
- 3+ years of experience within the railway sector.
- Proven experience with migration processes from BW 7.x to BW/4HANA.
- Expertise with reporting tools including SAP Analytics Cloud, Webi, BusinessObjects, and Power BI.
- Applied knowledge of analysis techniques such as use cases and scenario development within Agile Scrum environments.
- Possession of relevant SAP certifications in BW, BW/4HANA, or Datasphere.
- You hold a Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Economics.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP PS.
- Proactive and solution-oriented with strong organizational skills.
