Our client, a prominent public service institution, is seeking a senior professional to join a development team focused on document management and archiving solutions. The project involves replacing legacy applications and migrating archived data while providing technical leadership to a specialized subgroup of developers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
- Lead and mentor a subgroup of developers, providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Execute the migration of legacy archived data to modern storage solutions.
- Integrate internal systems with external archiving services.
- Implement scalable microservices within an Agile framework.
- Optimize data processing and ETL workflows to ensure system efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend development experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
- 8+ years of experience with web technologies including HTML and Angular.
- 3+ years of experience in data processing and ETL methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience working with MySQL databases.
- 1+ years of experience with Kafka, Docker, and REST APIs.
- You bring proven experience in technical leadership or leading a development team.
- You have at least 2 years of experience within a public service institution related to social security.
- You possess significant experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
- You're able to provide the results of a specific technical coding exercise upon application.
- You have an active knowledge of English and French.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with XML and XSD standards.
- Familiarity with modern archiving and document management protocols.
