Our client, a major organization in the transportation infrastructure sector, is seeking an expert to bridge the gap between legal requirements and technical AI implementation. The role focuses on ensuring compliance by design and integrating responsible AI practices into the core development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Translate legal requirements from the AI Act and GDPR into concrete technical controls and operational checklists.
  • Develop and formalize organizational AI policies and standards in collaboration with governance teams.
  • Integrate compliance frameworks into the full AI lifecycle using model cards and risk assessments.
  • Embed governance requirements into MLOps platforms, including data quality checks and model registries.
  • Ensure system auditability by establishing comprehensive logging, lineage, and documentation practices.
  • Identify and mitigate AI-specific risks such as bias and robustness through a risk-based approach.

Requirements

  • You have 8+ years of experience in senior-level technical consultancy or governance roles.
  • You bring 5+ years of experience translating regulatory frameworks into technical standards and operational templates.
  • You possess 5+ years of experience in AI risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • You're experienced in working transversally for 5+ years between IT, Legal, and Business units.
  • You have 2+ years of expertise in AI and Data Governance, specifically concerning the AI Act and GDPR.
  • You possess 2+ years of experience with Responsible AI principles, including bias and explainability.
  • You bring 2+ years of knowledge regarding MLOps pipelines and machine learning registries.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French with B1 level in the other language and B2 level in English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with specific AI observability tools.
