Network Engineer – IT & OT Infrastructure

Our client, a leading infrastructure group, is seeking a professional to manage and secure network operations across both industrial and office environments. The role involves supporting mission-critical systems and contributing to diverse modernization projects across European locations.

• Operate and maintain IT and OT systems within a 24/7 mission-critical infrastructure.
• Execute network changes and deployments with high diligence to ensure system stability.
• Analyze and resolve technical incidents and complex network connectivity problems.
• Support the modernization of WAN networks and the setup of connectivity in data centers and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with international ICT teams to facilitate functional evolutions and operational support.

• 1+ years of professional experience in network operations.
• Operational knowledge of firewalls, specifically Palo Alto and Checkpoint.
• Solid understanding of routing and switching at a CCNA level including Cisco CLI.
• Practical experience working with Python.
• Experience with backend infrastructure tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, and authentication.
• You possess your own car for travel between operational sites.
• You are a team player who is also capable of working independently and diligently.
• You are fluent in English with fluent knowledge of Dutch or French.

• Background in computer science.

• Location: Brussels
• Working model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after an initial 3-month onsite period.
