Cloud Technical Architect – Kubernetes & Azure Infrastructure

Our client, a leading organization, is seeking a Cloud Technical Architect to drive the evolution of their containerized platforms and hybrid infrastructure. This role involves end-to-end accountability for Kubernetes lifecycle management and the definition of scalable architectural standards. Professional leadership is provided to ensure technical excellence and cost-efficient cloud consumption across the enterprise.

• Manage the end-to-end application lifecycle for Kubernetes-based platforms across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Translate business strategy into scalable and secure cloud architectures in collaboration with technical stakeholders.
• Define and maintain architecture standards, building blocks, and reference patterns for the organization.
• Optimize platform performance, reliability, and efficiency through continuous evaluation and enhancement.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses to support strategic infrastructure decisions.
• Apply FinOps principles to ensure cost transparency and financial efficiency in cloud consumption.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality assurance for deliverables produced by external partners.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect on Microsoft Azure, including designing and governing production-grade architectures.
• You bring 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production, managing both platform-level concerns and application workloads.
• You possess experience with Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform to deliver secure and governed cloud environments.
• You have experience architecting and operating hybrid solutions spanning public cloud and on-premise environments.
• You bring experience defining and enforcing architecture standards and governance frameworks within enterprise settings.
• You possess knowledge of FinOps principles for cost management and architectural decision-making.
• You're able to provide technical leadership through mentoring and conduct quality reviews of external deliverables.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch (C1) with English (C2).
