Our client, a prominent research and innovation organization, is looking for a Project Lead to manage strategic research projects. The role focuses on aligning resource allocation with technical objectives and optimizing project methodologies within a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess resource requirements, define milestones, and identify project dependencies to reach research objectives.
  • Establish operational frameworks for project teams, including documentation, reporting, and meeting schedules.
  • Monitor progress against approved plans using resource dashboards and key deliverable tracking.
  • Evaluate project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating to management when required.
  • Identify opportunities for value creation within business processes and work methods in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and implementation of the internal project methodology.

Requirements

  • You have a Master's degree in computer architecture or engineering.
  • You bring 8+ years of experience in project management, change management, and project delivery.
  • You possess experience functioning within a matrix organization and interacting with multiple technical stakeholders.
  • You're result-oriented with a strong focus on internal and external relationship building.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with computer architectures, instruction set architectures, and system performance modeling.
  • Knowledge of system simulation tools such as gem5 or SST.
