Our client, a major player in the rail infrastructure sector, is seeking a professional to lead ICT projects and third-party packages related to safety-critical signaling systems. The role focuses on managing the ICT components of complex projects using a hybrid approach of Agile and PMBOK methodologies to ensure high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of ICT project components and third-party solutions within the signaling and infrastructure domain.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with scope, budget, and project planning milestones.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee the technical integration of external packages into the existing application landscape.
  • Facilitate project governance through steering committees, gate meetings, and regular stakeholder reporting.
  • Ensure project adherence to rigorous cybersecurity, quality, and safety standards such as ISO and EN norms.
  • Oversee technical documentation, CMDB maintenance, and the release management process for new solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance project delivery and methodology.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in project management following PMI, PMBOK, or PRINCE2 methodologies.
  • You possess 5+ years of experience working with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks.
  • You bring 2+ years of experience in ITIL service management processes.
  • You have 2+ years of experience managing the integration of third-party or COTS solutions.
  • You possess 2+ years of experience using Jira for project tracking and management.
  • You bring 2+ years of knowledge in NIS, GDPR, and ISO standards such as ISO9001 and ISO27001.
  • You have knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles.
  • You're familiar with Linux or Windows infrastructure and network fundamentals.
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and demonstrate a strong business and user-centric mindset.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French (C2) with a B2 level of the second national language and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of signaling safety standards such as EN 50.128.
  • Willingness to obtain specific safety or cybersecurity certifications.
