Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is looking for a Security Architect to translate strategic directions into technical solutions. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance and architectural consistency across IT, OT, and cloud environments to protect critical services.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve target security architectures by integrating Security by Design and Privacy by Design principles.
  • Perform technical and architectural risk assessments on projects, infrastructures, and industrial systems.
  • Define security architecture standards and principles in alignment with frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIS2.
  • Lead security intake processes and committees to ensure solution alignment with target architectures.
  • Provide expert advisory to project teams on integrating security requirements in SAP and cloud environments.
  • Monitor evolving threats and technologies to propose improvements for detection, response, and identity management.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or risk assessment within IT, OT, or IoT environments.
  • You possess an active CISSP certification.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field.
  • You possess experience with security frameworks and regulations including NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIST, and GDPR.
  • You bring technical expertise in Network Security, Cloud Security, ICAM, and Cryptography.
  • You have experience performing Threat Modeling, Business Impact Analysis, and Gap Analysis.
  • You possess knowledge of modeling methodologies such as Archimate and CyFun.
  • You're proactive and demonstrate strong stakeholder communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English with C1 level proficiency in French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with SAP security integration.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence security.
  • Additional certifications such as CCSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, or SABSA.

Offer

  • Start date: 07/09/2026.
  • Duration: Until 31/08/2027.
  • Work regime: Full-time.
  • Location: Brussels.
  • Working model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week onsite).
  • Contract: Open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
