GIS Specialist – ESRI Enterprise & .NET Development

Our client, a prominent organization in the utility sector, is looking for a specialist to manage and evolve their geographic information systems. The role involves maintaining the technical foundation of a GIS-centric asset management platform and ensuring the seamless release of related applications.

• Monitor the system environment and perform software and server infrastructure upgrades.
• Execute automated application releases and manage the deployment of software patches.
• Perform technical analyses and develop support tools using PowerShell, Python, or .NET.
• Maintain and improve existing ESRI Enterprise systems to ensure high availability.
• Provide technical support and solve complex incidents for specialized GIS applications.
• Collaborate within a large multidisciplinary team to implement technical maintenance tasks.

• 5+ years experience with the maintenance and improvement of ESRI Enterprise systems and GIS development.
• 5+ years development experience using Geocortex or Vertigis Studio products.
• 5+ years backend development experience with .NET.
• 5+ years working with web interfaces including SOAP and REST.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• 5+ years experience with application releasing in OTAP environments.
• 3+ years experience with IIS web server software.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
