Senior Functional Analyst / Solution Designer – General Applications

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst / Solution Designer. This professional acts as a trusted partner for business stakeholders by conducting autonomous studies and designing pragmatic, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, issues, and objectives while challenging requirements for clarity and value.
• Conduct end-to-end studies independently from initial problem framing to final solution proposal.
• Design simple, scalable, and cost-efficient IT solutions that align with the enterprise architecture.
• Evaluate various solution options and perform high-level cost/benefit analyses to support executive decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to simplify business processes and promote the reuse of existing standard platforms.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating alignment with architects, security, and delivery experts.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and traceability of all design decisions and recommendations.

• 8+ years experience in functional analysis and solution design within complex environments.
• 8+ years experience in business analysis and the management of autonomous studies.
• Proven experience working in complex IT environments featuring interconnected systems.
• Deep understanding of IT architecture principles and system integration.
• Extensive experience in cost/benefit evaluation and technical prioritization.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable IT solutions.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels.
• You are fluent in English with a good command of French or Dutch.
