Our client, a major organization in the maritime and logistics sector, is seeking a professional to drive self-service BI and operational insights. The role focuses on collecting, processing, and integrating data to deliver clear reports and dashboards that support data valorization and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain diverse Power BI reports and dashboards to provide operational insights.
  • Perform deep-dives on complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collect, process, and integrate relevant data from various sources into the reporting environment.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical data warehouse specifications.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy across all delivered reporting solutions.
  • Support the organization in adopting self-service BI through knowledge sharing and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence reporting and dashboarding using Power BI.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL databases and data warehouse modeling.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and managing ETL pipelines.
  • 2+ years of experience structuring data according to Kimball methodologies (facts and dimensions).
  • Proven experience in planning, designing, and building data warehouse applications using Cognos or Datastage.
  • Solid understanding of project-based work within a data environment.
  • Possess strong analytical thinking and proactive communication skills to challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • You are a collaborative team player with a passion for data-driven solutions.
  • You are fluent in Dutch (level C2) with a professional command of English.

Nice to Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with Python for data-related tasks.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and modern cloud data architectures.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with metadata management and data integration components.
