Technical Lead – GIS & Railway Infrastructure

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation sector, is looking for a Technical Lead specializing in GIS to manage spatial data for infrastructure and real-time operations. This role involves spearheading the implementation of geospatial solutions to optimize network efficiency and enhance asset management across the project.

• Lead the implementation of GIS solutions for infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate geospatial data collection and visualization.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to map network layouts and station locations.
• Apply geospatial techniques to optimize routes considering terrain, safety, and efficiency.
• Manage geospatial databases for infrastructure assets including tracks, signals, and tunnels.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, operators, and third parties to align project requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with safety regulations through strict quality assurance.

• You have 6+ years of experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS API, ArcGIS Server, and the ESRI suite.
• You possess proven experience in Geoserver and Geodatabase development.
• You're ESRI certified.
• You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Geoscience or Aeronautic.
• You are fluent in English with a B2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Coding experience in .NET or Python.
• Knowledge of railway infrastructure, signaling systems, and track alignment.
• Project management skills.
• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
• Level B2 in French or Dutch.
