Business Analyst

Our client, a prominent organization in the telecommunications sector, is looking for a Business Analyst to support a fast-paced finance transformation program. This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Technology, focusing on gathering, clarifying and translating business requirements for finance processes and systems in an environment where priorities and requirements continue to evolve.

• Elicit, challenge and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders, including FP&A, Business Controllers and Consolidation teams.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and support solution design activities.
• Analyze processes, data flows and business challenges to identify effective solutions.
• Work with finance stakeholders to understand reporting, planning, consolidation and performance management requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business users, project teams and technical experts.
• Participate in functional analysis, testing and validation activities to ensure successful delivery of key project milestones.
• Support data analysis and reconciliation efforts where required.
• Bring structure and clarity to complex situations while supporting multiple initiatives and shifting priorities.

• You have 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience and analytical level.
• You bring solid experience with requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• You possess a good understanding of finance terminology and financial processes andyou can communicate confidently with Business Controllers, FP&A teams and other Finance stakeholders.
• You excel at Excel
• You work independently and proactively with limited guidance, and take ownership rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
• You're comfortable in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment where not all requirements are defined upfront.
• You're a fast learner with a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with OneStream or similar performance management and consolidation tools.
• Exposure to Snowflake and basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience supporting finance transformation programs.
• Knowledge of data reconciliation and data quality processes.
• Experience in telecommunications, utilities or other large corporate environments.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
