Technical Vendor Manager – IT Infrastructure & Compliance

Our client, a prominent global organization in the aviation and logistics sector, is looking for a Technical Vendor Management Manager to join their technical architecture team. The role focuses on performing rigorous technical vetting of vendor solutions to ensure alignment with the internal technical landscape and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct structured technical assessments of prospective and existing IT vendors evaluating maturity and readiness.
• Evaluate vendor solutions against defined readiness criteria and organizational technical standards.
• Manage vendor performance and drive continuous improvement through audits and formal performance reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IT, risk, and business units to validate vendor capabilities.
• Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks associated with third-party IT engagements.
• Communicate assessment findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders to inform selection decisions.
• Ensure vendor compliance with internal IT standards and external regulations such as NIS2 and ISO 27001.

• 3+ years of experience within large-scale enterprise IT environments.
• 3+ years in service management with a focus on incident management and problem management.
• Experience managing vendor interactions from a technical perspective, including supplier management and sourcing.
• Experience conducting technical audits, risk management, and quality assurance activities.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and technical assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and ISO 27001.
• You possess a proactive and autonomous mindset with the ability to navigate complex environments.
• You are fluent in English.
