Software Engineer – Logistics Automation & .NET

Our client, a leader in automation solutions for intralogistics and e-commerce, is looking for an experienced professional to join their engineering team. The role involves developing market-leading technologies for global automated systems. This position combines software development with technical analysis and on-site commissioning activities.

• Design and develop applications in .NET Core within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Perform technical analysis to create UML schematics, flowcharts, and interface specifications.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs for complex automation systems.
• Write and validate test plans, performing both in-house simulations and emulations.
• Execute on-site commissioning and system integration in cooperation with engineering teams.
• Develop comprehensive user documentation to support system deployment and lifecycle management.

• You possess 3+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core.
• You have a strong background in Windows or Linux environments using object-oriented languages.
• You bring experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• You're familiar with virtualization techniques such as VMWare, Hyper-V, or Docker.
• You have a degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, Electronics, or equivalent experience.
• You possess strong analytical skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
• You're willing to travel for on-site commissioning phases in Belgium and abroad.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a good knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server databases.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications through internal software engineering programs.
