Our client, a major player in the transportation and infrastructure sector, is looking for a data expert to strengthen their analytics capabilities. This role involves translating complex business questions into reliable datasets and actionable insights within a modern data ecosystem.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Analyze business requirements and define relevant KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
- Execute advanced data transformations using SQL on both structured and semi-unstructured data.
- Design and implement data solutions within a Medallion architecture while applying data mesh principles.
- Ensure high data quality through targeted controls and validation processes.
- Develop sophisticated dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and DAX.
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse to interpret and position data correctly within the platform.
- Manage project delivery and stakeholder communication within an Agile framework.
Vereisten
- You have 8+ years of experience in data analysis, KPI definition, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- You bring 8+ years of expertise in data transformations using SQL on structured and semi-unstructured data.
- You possess 5+ years of experience with Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and data quality management.
- You have 5+ years of experience building reports and dashboards with Power BI and DAX.
- You have 5+ years of experience in project structuring and Agile methodologies using JIRA and Confluence.
- You bring 5+ years of technical experience with the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.
- You're experienced with data orchestration and platform tools such as Airflow and MS Fabric.
- You possess at least 1+ years of experience with Data Mesh principles and Data Products.
- You're a strong communicator with professional presentation skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- You are fluent in English with a C1 level of Dutch or French.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of operational governance regarding security and infrastructure.
- Experience with vendor management in complex ICT environments.
