Functional Analyst – Media Systems & Innovation

Our client, a prominent organization in the media and broadcasting sector, is looking for a professional to join their technology and innovation department. This role focuses on optimizing media production and distribution workflows through rigorous analysis and data-driven solutions.

• Collect, structure, and document business and functional requirements from a user perspective.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Collaborate with developers and end-users to ensure consistent and accessible digital interfaces.
• Utilize data and AI technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and system quality.
• Execute functional and regression testing while monitoring defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the maintenance and quality improvement of backend software applications.

• 3+ years of experience as a functional analyst working on business-critical applications.
• Experience with requirement analysis and design for OO, multi-tier, and web-enabled environments using UML.
• Experience with OO, data, and process modeling techniques and tools.
• Experience working within a Java development environment.
• Experience with Quality Assurance, including functional and regression testing.
• You possess knowledge of data-driven decision-making and AI implementation.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience performing code reviews for technical applications.
• Familiarity with media production or distribution technologies.
