Data Scientist – Mobility & Industrial AI Solutions

Our client, a major organization in the transportation sector, is looking for a Data Scientist to contribute to high-impact projects spanning security, punctuality, and sustainability. The role focuses on developing strategic models and implementing advanced analytics to enhance operational efficiency and passenger safety.

• Design and implement advanced data science solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and sustainability to deliver integrated solutions.
• Translate complex business challenges into data-driven strategies and technical models.
• Ensure best practices in model development, validation, and deployment across the organization.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge tools and methodologies within the data science team.
• Develop strategic models to optimize punctuality and energy consumption through predictive modeling.

• You have 5+ years of experience in data science with a strong track record in industrial applications.
• You possess a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or an AI field.
• You bring proven expertise in cloud services for industrialized data analytics projects.
• You have experience bringing ML and AI models into production environments.
• You possess advanced knowledge of various data science techniques and programming languages.
• You're able to translate complex business problems into actionable solutions based on Advanced Analytics.
• You possess strong communication and presentation skills.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with security analytics or infrastructure safety modeling.
• Knowledge of energy consumption analysis within a sustainability context.

• Duration: until 30/06/2027.
• Work regime: Full-time (1 FTE).
• Location: Brussels.
