Functional Analyst – Digital Transformation & Process Optimization

Our client, a leading public sector organization, is dedicated to developing accessible and user-friendly applications to support administrative processes. They are seeking a Functional Analyst to play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation program aimed at modernizing internal workflows.

• Document and analyze business processes and user requirements to ensure operational efficiency.
• Translate identified business needs into functional IT specifications and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify improvements and optimize internal processes.
• Define desired workflows and establish clear acceptance criteria for technical implementation.
• Produce comprehensive documentation to serve as a foundation for technical analysts, developers, and testers.
• Maintain regular communication with business analysts, technical colleagues, and end-users.

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst within complex, large-scale IT environments.
• You possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or equivalent professional experience.
• You bring thorough knowledge of modeling standards such as UML, BPMN, CMMN, and DMN.
• You have experience working with database structures and XML.
• You bring a highly analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• You're recognized for your excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and Figma.
• Knowledge of JSON.
• Active knowledge of English.
