Java Developer – Infrastructure Data & Graph Solutions

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation infrastructure sector, is seeking a specialist to assist in consolidating network data into a unified graph representation. The role involves developing the data foundation for essential planning and real-time traffic management systems.

• Perform technical analysis of functional requirements to create detailed technical specifications.
• Design and optimize complex algorithms and data structures for graph-based network modeling.
• Develop robust backend services and APIs using modern Java technologies.
• Create front-end interfaces to effectively manage and visualize infrastructure data.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while applying DevOps and security best practices.
• Document technical solutions and provide support for existing infrastructure applications.

• You have 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java 11+, Spring Framework, Maven, JPA, and Hibernate.
• You possess 2+ years of experience in frontend development with Angular.
• You bring expertise in API design and data formats using REST, gRPC, Swagger, XML/XSD, JSON, Protobuf, and SQL.
• You're experienced in managing pipelines and environments with Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• You have a strong command of testing methodologies using TDD, JUnit, and Mockito.
• You're proficient in working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French at C2 level, with B2 level proficiency in the second national language and C1 level in English.
