System Integration Tester – Quality Assurance & Automation

Our client, a prominent player in the insurance sector, is undergoing an extensive IT transformation towards a modern, standardized environment based on Agile and DevOps principles. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of complex system landscapes through end-to-end integration testing and automation. A key focus is on validating critical applications and strategic initiatives within a complex ecosystem of internal and external partners.

• Manage the integration testing phase within large-scale digital transformation projects and complex system chains.
• Design, document, and execute comprehensive system integration and end-to-end test scenarios across multiple applications.
• Validate interfaces between internal systems and external partners using APIs, messaging solutions, and batch processing.
• Develop and maintain scalable automated test scripts using Playwright to enhance continuous testing capabilities.
• Identify and mitigate risks within intricate process chains while optimizing the overall test strategy and approach.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed quality reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• 5+ years experience in system integration and end-to-end testing within complex IT environments.
• Advanced knowledge of integration concepts such as REST, SOAP, APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools including Postman and ReadyAPI.
• Recent experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Proficiency with test management and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• You bring strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving within legacy and modern landscapes.
• You possess an ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent expertise.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English with basic knowledge of French.

Nice to Haves

• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Experience with performance, load, stress, and security testing.
• Experience with tools such as JMeter, Azure Load Testing, or Tosca.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms.

• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite)
