Solution Architect – B2B & CRM Systems

Our client, a leader in the telecommunications sector, is seeking a Solution Architect to design end-to-end solutions for complex business and technical challenges. This role focuses on translating business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures while ensuring seamless integration across multiple platforms. The position requires balancing long-term business goals with technical constraints to drive transformation within a large-scale application landscape.

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex systems involving multiple applications and integrations.
• Lead initiatives within the B2B domain, specifically focusing on the CRM layer and related ecosystems.
• Perform high-level impact assessments and create detailed solution designs for major projects.
• Align technical and management stakeholders by adapting architectural explanations to the target audience.
• Develop and document architectural alternatives, designs, and comprehensive transformation plans.
• Map out cost structures, assess feasibility, and define initial workable versions of solutions.
• Enforce architectural guardrails to maintain an evolving and maintainable application landscape.

• 5+ years of experience in a solution architecture role within complex, large-scale environments.
• Experience designing and documenting architectural alternatives and end-to-end solutions.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to build consensus across various departments.
• Independent and proactive approach with the ability to adapt to change in fast-paced environments.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Salesforce and documentation tools like Confluence and LeanIX.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Background in large-scale transformation programs within the telecom sector.
• Collaboration experience with offshore development teams.
• Working knowledge of Dutch.

• Start date: April 1, 2026
• Duration: 12 months with extension
• Work regime: Full-time
• Location: Mechelen
• Working model: Hybrid (onsite 2 days per week, including Mondays)
