Expert Innovation Consultant – Data & AI Strategy

Our client, a prominent public safety organization, is seeking an expert consultant to lead their data and AI innovation initiatives. This role focuses on driving the transition to a centralized data platform and optimizing operational intelligence within a socially critical environment.

• Define and refine the overarching data and AI strategy and roadmap.
• Guide the transition from silo-driven systems to integrated data architectures.
• Modernize the business intelligence and reporting environment.
• Identify and implement high-value use cases for intelligence and operations.
• Optimize dataflows and data quality across diverse sources and systems.
• Facilitate collaboration between business, IT, and data teams.

• You bring 10+ years of experience as an Innovation Consultant.
• You possess 5+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
• You have 2+ years of experience in Data and AI strategy and implementation.
• You have experience with modern data architectures and platform transitions.
• You bring expertise in dataflow optimization.
• You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a level of CEFR C2.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with BI and reporting modernization.
• Knowledge of data-driven use cases within intelligence or operations.
• Background in Process Engineering, Lean manufacturing, or Continuous improvement.
• Experience in stakeholder management between business and IT.
• Practical knowledge of business processes and project management.
