Business Analyst – Odoo Finance

Our client, a leading organization in the energy and e-mobility sector, is seeking a specialist to bridge the gap between financial operations and technical delivery. The project focuses on integrating a new charging platform with the existing ERP to ensure seamless billing, accounting, and reconciliation flows. This role is instrumental in translating complex financial requirements into robust logic that supports efficient month-end closing.

• Map end-to-end financial flows from charging sessions to journal entries, including billing, payments, and roaming settlements.
• Translate complex tariffs, subscriptions, and promotions into functional specifications and accounting logic within the ERP.
• Produce detailed process documentation, interface contracts, and data mappings for system integrations between platforms.
• Define accounting treatments for VAT, accruals, and revenue recognition in close collaboration with finance stakeholders.
• Design automated reconciliation processes between external platforms, payment providers, and the general ledger.
• Manage the finance backlog by creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing delivery tasks.
• Lead functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure full auditability and system reliability.

• You bring 3+ years of experience as a business or functional analyst within finance, billing, or ERP environments.
• You possess functional expertise in Odoo, specifically within the Accounting, Invoicing, and Subscriptions modules.
• You have a strong command of financial fundamentals, including AR/AP, VAT treatment, accruals, and month-end closing processes.
• You're experienced in designing controls for high-volume automated transaction flows and system reconciliations.
• You have experience with system integrations, data mapping, and defining interface contracts between platforms.
• You possess a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business engineering, or a related field.
• You're able to produce clear technical specifications and test cases that bridge the gap between business and IT.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented, capable of aligning stakeholders across finance, product, and technology departments.
• You are fluent in English with a good command of French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in usage-based billing environments such as e-mobility, energy, telecom, or payments.
• Familiarity with AMPECO or other charging point management systems (CPMS).
