Senior Backend Developer – Blockchain & Digital Assets

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their digital innovation team. The role focuses on developing a group-wide digital assets platform to support use cases such as stablecoin payments and tokenized funds.

• Comprehend functional specifications to develop robust technical designs.
• Define and implement program structures based on established technical requirements.
• Create and execute comprehensive test cases and modify applications for production use.
• Conduct self and peer code reviews to ensure code quality and architectural integrity.
• Resolve assigned incidents and defects while ensuring successful closure.
• Execute technical integration testing between the platform and interfacing applications.

• 8+ years of experience in blockchain development focusing on Solidity, EVM chains, and Smart contract development.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java SDK, Java Message Service (JMS), and Java Server Pages (JSP).
• Experience with web technologies including JavaScript.
• Knowledge of custody (HSM) and on-chain/off-chain integrations.
• Proven expertise in Agile Methodologies using Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency, programmable money, and stablecoin payments.
• You possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• You're result-driven with a proactive and punctual approach to deadlines.
• You bring clear and structured communication skills to a collaborative environment.
