Cloud Engineer – Azure & Infrastructure as Code

Our client, a prominent service provider, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their technology team. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable cloud-based infrastructure to bridge the gap between software delivery and reliable environments.

• Design and monitor cloud blueprints including governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Implement best practices for scalability, high availability, and cost optimization within the environment.
• Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure consistent deployments.
• Evaluate and integrate new services and technologies in alignment with the cloud strategy.
• Collaborate with technology teams to translate architectural decisions into practical, actionable solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and maintain clear documentation of design principles.

• You have 5+ years of professional experience in the Azure ecosystem ensuring robust and secure infrastructure.
• You possess advanced skills in Terraform for resource deployment and management under an Infrastructure as Code philosophy.
• You bring mandatory knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM).
• You have a deep understanding of the full SDLC and experience building CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• You bring a strong affinity with software development to support collaboration with delivery teams.
• You're a strong communicator with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a builder mentality.

Nice to Haves

• Certified Azure Administrator Associate.
• Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and cloud features.
