Senior Buyer

Our client is a specialized organization looking for a dedicated professional to manage their procurement operations and ensure compliance with public sector regulations. The role involves overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from risk analysis and specification drafting to supplier performance monitoring and relationship management.

• Oversee major contracts and supplier agreements to ensure timely implementation and renewal of commitments.
• Analyze risks and opportunities for purchase requests and advise internal clients on mitigation strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators to drive service improvement plans.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and structured action plans.
• Manage the end-to-end contract request process while ensuring adherence to administrative and budgetary procedures.
• Propose improvements to technical specifications and stay informed about changes in relevant legislation.

• You have 6+ years of experience in public procurement, including supplier negotiation and contract management.
• You bring a thorough understanding of public procurement laws.
• You possess strong communication skills and the ability to encourage initiative within a team.
• You're customer-focused, result-oriented, and diplomatic in professional interactions.
• You have an active knowledge of Dutch or French.
