Senior Business Analyst – Process Optimization & Security Systems

Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is looking for a senior professional to bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions. The role involves translating operational challenges into practical, measurable improvements to enhance high-impact organizational processes.

• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and actionable process improvements.
• Analyze and optimize internal business processes using standard modeling techniques and data-driven insights.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Monitor and enforce software development and security standards throughout all project stages.
• Manage organizational change by evaluating solution impacts and providing strategic recommendations.
• Utilize data analysis tools to extract strategic insights and support decision-making.

• 10+ years of professional experience as a business analyst within complex IT environments.
• 8+ years of experience in process optimization and end-to-end project delivery.
• You possess advanced knowledge of process description methods such as UML Activity Diagrams and BPMN.
• You bring expertise in Requirements Engineering and data modeling.
• You have experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• You're proficient in using Jira and Visio for process modeling and project management.
• You possess strong analytical and abstract thinking skills with a result-oriented approach.
• You're a proactive communicator who is discrete, responsible, and capable of working independently or in a team.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with basic knowledge of the other language and English.
