Senior Procurement Consultant (AI & Strategic Sourcing)

Our client is seeking an experienced consultant to drive strategic procurement initiatives and integrate advanced AI technologies within their sourcing operations. This role focuses on optimizing supplier relationships and delivering high-level insights to support executive decision-making.

• Lead strategic procurement initiatives focusing on AI integration and Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Develop high-level presentations and data visualizations to support executive-level reporting.
• Drive innovation through advanced AI prompting and the application of LLMs for market intelligence and competitive benchmarking.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including supplier negotiations, bid analysis, and RFP support.
• Oversee category strategies and procurement schedules to ensure maximum value and risk mitigation.
• Implement process improvements using data dashboards to monitor performance metrics and purchasing activities.
• Collaborate with global category managers to execute cross-functional procurement projects and streamline internal processes.

• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have 8+ years of relevant experience in strategic procurement and buying.
• You bring advanced knowledge of Procurement AI, including LLMs such as Copilot, Claude, or Gemini.
• You're proficient in ERP systems, specifically SAP, for managing procurement processes.
• You possess expert-level PowerPoint skills and experience with PowerBI for data consolidation.
• You're highly organized with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.
