SAP MDG Functional Analyst – Master Data Governance & International Rollouts

Our client, a global leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a professional to oversee master data governance during a large-scale digital transformation. This role focuses on designing workflows and ensuring data quality for customer, supplier, and finance domains within an international SAP S/4HANA rollout programme.

• Configure and maintain SAP Master Data Governance processes across customer, supplier, and finance master data domains.
• Safeguard data quality throughout each country migration by implementing harmonisation, validation rules, and readiness checks.
• Design data workflows, approval routings, and authorization concepts that balance governance rigor with operational speed.
• Define and maintain data standards and business rules to keep the global template consistent across rollout waves.
• Manage data replication and integration points between MDG and downstream consuming systems.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align data ownership and stewardship responsibilities.
• Document governance decisions and configuration choices to ensure consistency across the programme.

• You have 3+ years of experience as an SAP MDG Functional Analyst or Consultant.
• You bring functional expertise across at least two core MDG domains such as MDG-C, MDG-S, or MDG-F.
• You have participated in at least one large-scale international SAP rollout or data migration project.
• You possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Business Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• You have experience with data integrity, auditability, and governance discipline.
• You're analytical, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a dynamic project environment.
• You're a clear communicator who can translate requirements between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA and the Central Governance deployment model.
• Knowledge of BRF+, Data Replication Framework (DRF), or SAP Migration Cockpit.
• Experience with data quality tooling such as SAP Information Steward or Data Services.
• Knowledge of logistics, distribution, or automotive master data contexts.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
