Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is looking for a professional to further expand and professionalize a modern cloud-based data platform. The role focuses on designing and maintaining scalable data solutions while translating reporting needs into robust data models and pipelines.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines within a modern cloud data environment.
- Implement data integrations from various sources such as relational databases, APIs, and internal applications.
- Manage lakehouse, warehouse, and medallion architectures with a focus on reusability and performance.
- Translate reporting and analysis requirements into clear data models and reliable datasets.
- Monitor and document data flows and processes to ensure continuous improvement and data quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and architects to deliver data projects from analysis to production.
Vereisten
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- You bring 3+ years of experience with Python within a data engineering context.
- You possess experience with Microsoft Fabric, specifically pipelines, dataflows, and notebooks.
- You have experience with Azure cloud-based data architectures, including lakehouse or warehouse concepts.
- You bring proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
- You have experience with data integration from multiple source systems.
- You possess experience supporting reporting and analytics environments.
- You're proactive and able to work independently while contributing to team standards.
- You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with ETL processes, databases, and Spark-based processing.
- Knowledge of medallion architecture, Kimball methodology, and datamesh concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and deployment of data solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality management, and lineage.
- Experience with Power BI or working in a complex enterprise environment.
