Senior Technical Architect – Java/Hybrid Cloud

Our client, a prominent organization, is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead the evolution of a hybrid integration platform. This role involves defining technical architectures for data management and electronic payment systems while overseeing a development team to implement scalable solutions across cloud and legacy environments.

• Define the technical architecture for integration solutions bridging cloud-based and legacy environments.
• Design high-level and detailed architecture documents for enterprise data management and electronic payment systems.
• Lead and mentor a development team during implementation phases to ensure technical alignment and quality.
• Develop and document core components of the integration platform using modern Java frameworks.
• Oversee the evolution and maintenance of existing integration solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
• Perform technical analysis and facilitate the handover of solutions through comprehensive documentation and coaching.

• 8+ years of experience in technical architecture for hybrid integration platforms and Enterprise Data Management.
• Expertise in backend development with Java 11/17/21, Spring 6.x, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure services including AKS, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Azure Functions.
• Mastery of REST, SOAP, WS-Security, SOA, and microservices patterns.
• Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Practical experience with WSO2 Enterprise Integrator and API Manager.
• Proven track record in designing electronic payment systems such as Worldline SIPS, Xengo, or CTEP.
• You possess a proactive approach to GDPR compliance and data protection within the development cycle.
• You have strong leadership skills to pilot development teams and provide expert coaching.
• You are fluent in English and French with limited working proficiency in Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within the public sector.
• Knowledge of Quarkus for cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with BCE, Fidus, or CODA file processing.
