Application Security Architect – DevSecOps & Cloud Security

Our client, a prominent organization in the utility sector, is seeking an Application Security Architect to design, monitor, and continuously enhance their digital infrastructure. This role involves translating strategic security goals into technical solutions and serving as a key expert for development teams and management.

• Integrate security across the entire Software Development Life Cycle including design, build, test, and deployment.
• Automate security controls within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous protection and compliance.
• Perform threat modeling, code reviews, and architecture assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Define security guardrails and secure coding standards for modern development environments.
• Advise on API security, container security, and cloud-native architectures within Azure.
• Support incident analysis and vulnerability management processes to maintain environment integrity.
• Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security market developments to maintain high standards.

• 1+ years of experience as an architect within ICT Security solutions.
• Proven experience with secure software architecture and DevSecOps methodologies.
• You have a Master’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• You bring experience in automating security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
• You possess expertise in defining security guardrails and secure coding standards.
• You're experienced in risk management within a technical context.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French at a C1 level with at least B2 level proficiency in the other language.

Nice to Haves

• Experience integrating security into the SDLC phases.
• Knowledge and experience with ITIL frameworks.
• Experience monitoring threats, vulnerabilities, and market developments.
