CI/CD Engineer – DevOps & Cloud Automation

Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications sector, is seeking a CI/CD Engineer to support the implementation and evolution of their DevOps ecosystem. The role focuses on enabling efficient, secure, and scalable software delivery pipelines while promoting automation best practices. This technical position offers the opportunity to shape modern engineering standards within a dynamic Agile environment.

• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines primarily using GitHub and GitHub Runners to ensure high reliability.
• Monitor pipeline performance and tool usage to implement continuous improvements for efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed DevSecOps principles and define automated software delivery standards.
• Support cloudification initiatives by ensuring seamless integration between Azure and existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to upskill development teams on modern automation practices.
• Explore and evaluate AI-powered coding assistance tools to enhance developer productivity and code quality.

• 5+ years of experience in CI/CD pipeline management and DevSecOps practices.
• 5+ years of experience with scripting and automation tools including PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Advanced experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Runners.
• Extensive knowledge of build tools and package managers such as Maven, Node.js, npm, Nexus, and JFrog.
• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks and ceremonies.
• You have a strong interest in the evolution of AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot.
• You possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Azure and related cloud services.
• Familiarity with SonarQube and Aikido.
• Knowledge of standard databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
