Senior MES Designer (Werum PAS-X)

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is seeking an experienced professional for a strategic digital transformation initiative. The project involves replacing legacy systems with a global standard to establish the future of manufacturing execution. The role focuses on defining design principles that will shape technical solutions for years to come.

• Design scalable and maintainable Master Batch Records (MBRs) within Werum PAS-X.
• Evaluate and optimize global MES design solutions to meet specific manufacturing requirements.
• Establish generic and reusable MBR design principles to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Implement Review by Exception (RBE) principles to streamline electronic batch record processes.
• Ensure MES designs adhere to GMP compliance, data integrity, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including QA, automation, and process experts to align technical designs with business needs.

• You possess 8+ years of experience in MES design, specifically focused on Werum PAS-X and Master Batch Records (MBRs).
• You bring extensive expertise within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• You have a deep understanding of MES architecture, master data, and electronic batch record design.
• You're able to define scalable and future-proof design concepts beyond basic configuration.
• You possess a constructive and critical mindset with the ability to challenge existing approaches while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• You are fluent in English.
