Expert Java Developer – Mission-Critical Systems

Our client, a leader in security and big data solutions for national defense, is seeking an expert developer for a long-term strategic project. The role involves contributing to high-value software products within a multidisciplinary team focused on critical infrastructure and secure environments.

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Develop new features for strategic mission-critical applications.
• Maintain existing software and perform comprehensive anomaly resolution.
• Ensure code quality and consistency through peer reviews and cross-validation.
• Provide daily progress reporting to team leadership and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of architects, analysts, and designers.

• You have 8+ years of experience in backend development with Java 8 and Java SE.
• You bring advanced knowledge of modular architectures using OSGI.
• You possess significant experience with database systems such as SQL and PostgreSQL.
• You're proactive, autonomous, and a dedicated team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Hibernate, SWING, JavaFX, and JUnit.
• Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Redmine.
• Knowledge of MySQL.
• Willingness to obtain a security clearance.
