Business Analyst – Data & AI

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is seeking a Business Analyst to join a dedicated Data and AI Intelligence team. The role involves translating complex business needs into data-driven requirements and actionable insights to guide advanced analytics delivery. Success in this position requires working cross-functionally to shape use cases, validate solutions, and drive stakeholder adoption through compelling executive narratives.

• Translate business needs into clear, data-driven requirements and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
• Design and build interactive dashboards in Power BI and deliver ad-hoc analyses and recommendations.
• Coordinate project planning, testing, and deployment while managing risks and maintaining project documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and act as the primary liaison between business units and technical IT teams.
• Support the integration of AI and Generative AI solutions through change management and adoption initiatives.
• Create high-quality PowerPoint narratives to communicate visuals, ROI, and influence executive decision-making.

• You have 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within data-focused projects.
• You bring 3+ years of experience working in structured project environments including planning and coordination.
• You possess strong technical proficiency in SQL and Power BI for data reporting.
• You're an expert in Excel and executive-level PowerPoint storytelling.
• You have professional functional experience within the insurance sector.
• You bring strong analytical skills and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• You possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch, and French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Databricks platforms.
