Wintel Team Lead – Hybrid Infrastructure & Systems

Our client, a leading organization managing mission-critical infrastructure, is looking for a technical leader to manage their server estate. This dual role combines people management with technical authority, overseeing the roadmap, budget, and stability of a hybrid environment.

• Motivate, coach, and steer the system engineering team and project managers to foster a collaborative culture.
• Optimize and manage the Windows Server infrastructure across on-premise and hybrid environments in line with SLAs.
• Coordinate lifecycle management, patching, and hardening measures across the entire server estate.
• Collaborate with architects to establish technical roadmaps and enforce internal security standards.
• Build technical bridges across Linux, Cloud, Security, and Applications teams to realize organizational goals.
• Advise leadership on infrastructure investments, capacity planning, and the performance of external vendors.
• Lead hardware-related projects while drafting mitigation and continuity plans to address potential risks.

• You have 5+ years of expertise managing Microsoft Windows Server platforms and Active Directory.
• You possess 5+ years of experience with VMware virtualization and Veeam backup solutions.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in system administration within large-scale environments, including team coordination or leadership roles.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in automation using PowerShell scripting.
• You have knowledge of server infrastructure, storage solutions, and Azure cloud fundamentals.
• You possess experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and ITIL processes.
• You bring a Master’s degree in ICT or equivalent professional experience.
• You're an analytical and stress-resistant leader capable of communicating technical themes to diverse audiences.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with a good knowledge of the second national language and English.
