Portfolio Officer – Strategy & Transformation Governance

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for a dynamic and structured Portfolio Officer with strong analytical and governance skills. This role translates strategic priorities into actionable, well-governed portfolios while enabling transparent decision-making through executive-level reporting and data-driven steering.

• Establish enterprise portfolio governance and provide critical investment decision support.
• Develop and manage PfMO–PMO collaboration models and bidirectional governance flows.
• Monitor portfolio health by tracking OKRs, value, risk, capacity, and overall progress.
• Produce executive-level reporting and prepare materials for Portfolio Board sessions.
• Drive strategic portfolio structuring, roadmapping, and scenario planning across multiple domains.
• Lead RAID and dependency management for complex organizational initiatives.
• Utilize PPM tools and BI dashboarding to deliver strategic insights and storytelling.

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Portfolio Governance managing both business and IT initiatives.
• Proven experience with Portfolio Decision Support and Executive Governance within complex or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with PPM tools such as Planview or Clarity.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI dashboarding, data modeling, and storytelling.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-domain stakeholders in Strategy, Finance, and IT.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree.
• You're communicative, analytical, and possess a pragmatic, agile mindset.
• You possess strong advisory skills and are solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with a good command of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of portfolio management frameworks such as MoP, PfMP, or SAFe Lean.
• Experience in the energy sector related to grid operations, regulatory frameworks, or energy transition.
• Experience defining roadmaps and prioritization frameworks for portfolio balancing.
• Fluent in English.
