Expert Project Leader – Project Server & PPM Migration

Our client, a leading organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is looking for an expert to lead the migration of their project management environment. The role focuses on transitioning a project web application to a subscription-based platform while ensuring business continuity and user adoption within a strategic project portfolio.

• Lead the business-side migration of the project web application environment, managing scope, planning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Coordinate and execute functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure a successful go-live.
• Analyze and document business needs regarding processes, reporting, data, and key performance indicators.
• Optimize project portfolio management tools and templates through workflow configuration and permissions management.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports focusing on portfolio health, capacity, costs, and risks.
• Drive change management initiatives by developing communication plans, user documentation, and training sessions.

• You have 10+ years of experience in project leadership and project portfolio management.
• You have 5+ years of experience with Project Online or Project Server configuration and governance.
• You're experienced in leading PPM migrations, including scope definition, testing cycles, and cut-over management.
• You possess advanced knowledge of MS Project Professional for planning, template creation, and standardization.
• You have experience utilizing SharePoint for lists, permissions, and integrations within a project management context.
• You bring a certification in Microsoft Power BI.
• You have a Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Commercial Sciences, or a related field with an IT management focus.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.

• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
