Azure Backend Developer – Integration & Portal Solutions

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is looking for an Azure Backend Developer to support their portal and integration projects. The role involves designing serverless applications and ensuring seamless connectivity between internal and external systems in an agile environment.

• Develop and maintain serverless applications using Azure Functions and Azure Container Apps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments across various environments.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes using Cosmos DB, Blob/Table Storage, and Redis Cache.
• Integrate with external systems through SOAP and REST services while managing OAuth authentication.
• Conduct technical analysis of functional assignments and convert specifications into technical solutions.
• Manage sensitive information using Azure Key Vault and provide third-line support for applications.
• Write unit tests and employ test-driven development practices to ensure high code quality.

• You have 5+ years of experience in IT Integration and service design.
• You bring 5+ years of development experience with Microsoft .NET technology, specifically C# and Azure.
• You've built and hosted applications using Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Kubernetes.
• You possess knowledge of integration technologies including SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, WSDL, and JSON.
• You have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• You're familiar with data solutions such as Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, and relational database modeling.
• You possess AZ-204 or AZ-900 certifications.
• You have experience with unit testing, test-driven development, and object-oriented application design.
• You're an analytically strong, proactive team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in large corporate environments with structured processes and complex decision-making landscapes.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Domain knowledge of non-life mobility underwriting or claims.
• Willingness to work with AI.

• Work regime: Full-time (100%)
• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week onsite)
