Technical Project Manager – Building IT & Infrastructure

Our client, a leading organization in the operations and infrastructure sector, is looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee the setup and delivery of building IT systems. The role involves managing technical projects from initiation through to delivery, focusing on building automation, security systems, and physical infrastructure within a complex environment.

• Lead project initiation and planning by defining high-level scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate multiple internal team members and external suppliers across various technical projects.
• Design detailed technical studies and functional specifications for new or replacement technology solutions.
• Manage and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring timely escalation to management.
• Validate supplier offers and draft technical documentation, measurement statements, and study plans for tenders.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, costs, and effort to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee third-line support and intervene in technical incidents to ensure swift resolution.

• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• You have 5+ years of experience in technical project management specifically within building automation, telecom, or electrical infrastructure.
• You bring proven expertise in structured cabling, access control, and other building automation technologies such as CCTV, intrusion, and Fire detection.
• You have knowledge of IT networks, including physical network infrastructure.
• You have knowledge of ARAB / AREI regulations.
• You have experience with construction and installation coordination for projects valued between 100k and 5M.
• You possess expert knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to coordinate multiple suppliers in technical environments.
• You are fluent in French with a fluent reporting level of Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Practical understanding of project methodologies such as PM².
• Previous involvement in writing or reviewing technical tender documents.
